Fareed joined Grantbook in 2021, becoming an integral part of the team with an incredible passion for learning, philanthropy, and problem-solving. He graduated from Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University) with a degree in Business Technology Management.

He began his career in the cybersecurity industry at Shared Services Canada in 2017. Working in the Department of Defence, he configured Aruba servers for SSO and authentication via GNAC (Gateway Network Access Control). Before working at Grantbook, he worked at The Herjavec Group, where he managed SLAs on tickets and solved any immediate security issues.
