“The best choices in life are the ones that are the right answer to multiple questions.”

About

Peter Deitz

In 2010, Peter set two ten-year goals for himself. One was to become more musical. The other was to create a successful social purpose business. For the first, he chose to learn the fiddle. For the second, he partnered with Anil Patel and together they committed themselves to helping foundations improve their relationship with technology. That commitment became GrantBook.

About

Nikki Barrett

I come to GrantBook after a decade of bringing game-changing ideas to audiences across North America, first in the world of publishing and then as Vice President of the LAVIN agency, a global speakers bureau. Though I've worked with thought leaders from across literature, neuroscience and business strategy, most recently I'm captivated by social innovators harnessing technology to do good. I am a writer and storyteller at heart--as GrantBook's Managing Director, I help our community weave digital threads into their emerging narratives.

"Don't get lost in the details. Breathe. And then begin."

About

Maggie Cheung

I'm drawn to questions of why: Why do we feel compassion? Why do we call something a 'technology'? Why isn't philanthropy more empathic? These questions led me to GrantBook -- where "why's" are explored every day. Applying my 3 years’ experience in digital design, my double-major in Cognitive Science and Psychology, and a passion for unraveling systemic problems, I look for holistic solutions by finding the right questions to ask.

About

Mohamed Huque

I’ve been a nonprofit executive and led a number of national charities, so I can empathize with the grantee experience. I’ve also been a funder and know the common challenges faced by foundations. Working at GrantBook allows me to operate now at a systems level, creating strategies and solutions not just for our clients but across the philanthropic sector. There’s lots of progressive trends happening in our sector and I’m excited to help foster that change.

About

Rahi Delvi

My job is advising philanthropies, nonprofits, and social enterprises on cloud based technology, but it's also about protecting the environment and encouraging budding environmentalists, supporting better access to food and nutrition and radically changing our financing models for women led ventures. It's being part of these stories, and more that makes working at GrantBook pretty special.

About

I saw Office Space and realized I don't belong in the corporate world of cubicles and fluorescent lights, so I moved across the country to join the GrantBook team.
