Shelly Campbell began her marketing career in the arts sector, in which she also works as a writer, spoken word poet, and educator. She brings her love of storytelling and marketing to Grantbook to share the magic that is Grantbook with the world.
As an artist who has been a grantee, she is deeply invested in the bettering of grantee experiences and the philanthropic sector. She works alongside other artists, and organizations to better inform art granting bodies of grantee needs in her local community.
She fell in love with marketing while studying business at university. She loved the combination of data, storytelling, and creativity. She has been building her marketing skillset throughout the years, including getting a Search Engine Optimization (SEO) specialization over the pandemic and is currently working towards one in graphic design.
