Adam comes from a ten-year background of administering and delivering educational technology. As part of the Learning Applications team at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver BC, Adam assisted with the strategy, setup and deployment of both locally hosted and SAAS learning tools. He worked closely with instructors to map out, build, and support software for various teaching & learning situations, and has a talent for translating day to day processes into digital solutions, and explaining them in practical terms.
With UBC, Adam also administered and built many of the school's grant-like programs, which allocated funds to course/program redevelopment and new & experimental teaching and learning projects. He brought this SAAS and GMS experience along with him to the philanthropic sector, and into an Implementation Specialist role with Grantbook in 2021.
In his free time he can be found teaching a new board game to his friends, learning a new recipe, or out camping somewhere in BC.
